Every one of 1,367 finance and business podcasts, ranked by influence, then read for transcripts — from publisher feeds, show websites, video captions, and speech recognition. This page reports what the archive actually contains.

Coverage falls as influence falls

How to read these numbers

rss
Publisher feed. Transcripts the publisher declares in the RSS feed itself. The highest fidelity source, with speaker labels and real punctuation — but only about a fifth of shows offer them.
site
Show website. Scraped from the programme's own pages. Fidelity varies: some pages yield only episode notes, which are flagged below as notes-only.
youtube
Video captions. Caption tracks from the show's channel. Usually machine-generated, so no speaker labels and limited punctuation.
asr
Speech recognition. Whisper run over episode audio. Used only to backfill high-ranking shows that publish no text anywhere.

Depth is inferred from length, because a short file is usually notes rather than a transcript. Full is 4,000 words or more, partial runs 2,000–4,000, and notes-only falls below 2,000.

Coverage is deliberately uneven. Collection runs in rank order, so the most influential shows are worked first and the tail is thinnest. Speech recognition cannot realistically cover a 480,000-episode archive, so shows that publish no text remain the hardest gap to close.
